I started my cleaning services company in August of 2016 with the encouragement of my boyfriend Jason. He saw how much I longed to get away from my desk job but struggled with what direction to take after having our son James in May of 2015. When we had our son, I wanted desperately to be able to spend more time with him but could not afford to quit my job yet. Jason is a handyman and has been self-employed for over a decade. He encouraged me by telling me how he gets to build his own schedule, and choose who he does or does not work for. I was intimidated by needing to do EVERYTHING on my own, so I decide to shelve the idea until I was ready.
Eventually, I left corporate America and went back to serving since I had lots of experience throughout college. While serving at the Olive Garden, I decided to help my best friend Rilee move but didn't charge her for my time and effort (what are best friends for after all?). But, after a long and tiring day of moving and cleaning, she remarked that I could probably charge people for what I did for her offering professional cleaning services in Billings. She is a commercial cleaner and small business owner so her comment struck a chord.
I decided to re-join Biz to Biz Network to let all of the people I made professional connections with know about my new business venture in Billings, Montana house cleaning. I was immediately met with overwhelming support. My word of mouth reputation and the connections I made in Biz to Biz allowed me to leave the Olive Garden and become fully self-employed in just under one year of starting my company.
Now that my business is more established, my main goal is to build a team of hardworking individuals who care about my clients as much as I do. So far, I have the help of my two younger sisters and would love to provide them with a steady income.
